Many LGBTIQ* people experience violence<\/strong>, no longer dare to leave the house, no longer have access to prevention, support and care and to the health system<\/strong><\/a>. Many people with HIV can no longer get their medication.<\/p>\n\n The political and legal fight against the queer-hostile law continues. LGBTIQ* persons in acute need, however, need our support now<\/strong>. Important are especially<\/p>\n\n The Queer Emergency Uganda Alliance<\/a> is supported by WE AID<\/a>, a platform for non-profit crisis relief. This means that we can use the donated funds <\/strong> for the donation purpose<\/strong> without a large administrative apparatus and with only a small administration fee.<\/p>\n\n Every donation helps provide queer people in need with the basic necessities: a roof over their heads<\/strong> and protection from violence<\/strong>, water and food<\/strong>, medicine<\/strong> and medical care<\/strong>, data volume and talk time to<\/strong> stay in touch with others, counseling<\/strong> and support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
